An interdisciplinary telling of a common clerk’s sudden rise in ambition born of his seemingly simple desire for an overcoat. This production examines the challenges of wanting more in our lives, and, ironically, the conflicts that compound when we suppress these desires. Through a unique blend of text, movement, and dance, The Overcoat shows what can happen when our strongest human passions collide with the realities of everyday life.
